RCC is a Reformed Church committed to Reformed Experiential Theology & Preaching. Some one has defined Experiential Theology “as that theology which explains how the doctrines of scripture become experiential reality in the hearts and lives of believer’s. One could say that experiential religion is doctrine experienced.” William Ames said that “Theology is the doctrine or teaching of living to God (1576-1633).” At RCC our desire is to experience our theology in the reality of our daily lives: with Head, Heart, & Hands.
RCC is also a Missional Church. The Bible is the story of the mission of God, and at RCC our desire is to fit into this great story of God’s mission. Our concern is not making the gospel relevant to the world, but rather to be about the business of transforming the world to fit the shape of the Gospel. We aren’t seeking to fit the church to the world, but rather we are seeking to be the kind of church God wants for His mission. We are not seeking to discover what kind of mission God has for each individual, but rather we are seeking to be the kind of me God wants for his mission.
RCC seeks to Connect Church & Home. We believe the home, though not exclusively, is a place of evangelism and discipleship. In the home real life takes place; real discipleship and evangelism. It is our desire to restore the connection between the Church & the Home.
RCC places a high value on Relationships. It is our desire that lasting relationships be established in the body of Christ. To facilitate relationships we encourage Hospitality with those within and without the Church.
RCC believes that Christian Education has a high priority in the scriptures and must be based upon the word of God.
RCC believes that the Head of the Church is Jesus Christ and not the State. Therefore RCC is not a 501c3 but a Free Church. Although we are not a 501c3 all donations and tithes are tax deductible.
